How to migrate sendmail configuration from Windows to Linux?

I have a server (local XAMPP), the PHP function mail() send emails. It seems to be used by sendmail
I have setup sendmail in sendmail.ini:
[sendmail]
smtp_server=smtp.flockmail.com
smtp_port=587
; ...
auth_username=example@domain.ru
auth_password=pass

On windows everything works, emails are sent...
But on Linux I don't know how to configure it. Because sendmail.ini is not there.
How can I transfer these settings on linux?
PS Maybe something needs to change in sendmail.mc ?
P. P. S. PHPMailer not yet plan to use.

It's not sendmail, Well at least not albanowski sendmail At all to sendmail.cf. This is some leftist hack and ermanovskaya sendmail has nothing to do, will have to configure from scratch using these settings only as a reference.
sendmail.cf, too, only it was empty...
Was installed using
sudo apt-get install sendmail - Ruth.Hilll commented on April 7th 20 at 15:23
@Karli.Altenwer, what is the Usual procedure - first written sendmail.mc, it generated sendmail.cf. May be in Windows is not so. But in order to write the correct sendmail.mc - needs usually to overcome the entire README from the sendmail distrib
Here's an example piece sendmail.mc:
FEATURE(access_db, `hash -o-T<TMPF> /etc/mail/access')
FEATURE(blacklist_recipients)
FEATURE(local_lmtp)
FEATURE(mailertable, `hash -o /etc/mail/mailertable')
FEATURE(virtusertable, `hash -o /etc/mail/virtusertable')
FEATURE(nouucp,`reject')
FEATURE(smrsh)

@Davon.Mante64, and what can you do?) All you need 4 parameters to specify) - Ruth.Hilll commented on April 7th 20 at 15:29
@Karli.Altenwer, I don't know :) sendmail is difficult to configure and to understand where these 4 parameters to attach - will have to read the whole README and googling pretty... - frida_Lubowitz commented on April 7th 20 at 15:32
@Davon.Mante64, and on windows it was relatively easier) - Ruth.Hilll commented on April 7th 20 at 15:35
