How do I output dd() in the view?

Not so long ago began to study larval, do the lessons and faced with the same problem. Can't put dd(); in the view, without breaking the layout. The Hello example:
How it should look

What I got up to output dd();

What I got after the withdrawal of the dd();

Tried different variations of the output: {{ dd($item) }}, @dd($item), @php dd($item) @endphp, to no avail. I can assume that dd () at the end of the execution kills further execution of the script(die(1)).

But as the author of the video managed to do it?

Because the author of the lesson, veschuet my left heel, he uses not dd()and dump().
Thanks, are already closer to the desired result :) but one snag.

Set @dump(), when the page loads the output of debug for a moment to become, as the author, but then turns into such a mess.

Do not tell me what it can be connected?

UPD: problem was solved, in the template script connected with the defer attribute. Removed atribut and all was fine. - richmon commented on April 7th 20 at 15:42
