Where did home network in Windows 10?

Failed to connect to the home network by usual methods, as for 7ke home network. Found out that Microsoft is forcibly removed this option. As far as I understand, you want to impose on your cloud service. Terribly inconvenient. Dancing with a tambourine using the IP address can't dance. Who is aware of? Return option?

Eeeem. Why did you decide that this feature was removed? Home network both worked and works without problems. Where did this information?

@Lauryn_Bartellis a HomeGroup, not a home network. A home group is a logical grouping of devices in the network. - Eugenia commented on April 7th 20 at 15:55
Who is connected, that works. No features in the latest updates. It is not there. No. Removed. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 15:58
@Sydney_Wuckert23, the function was removed. I do not have it. No. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:01
@Hailee.Haley88, get the rest of the group. Attitude a common one. It's just the working group. The network "home" nothing to do with. - Eugenia commented on April 7th 20 at 16:04
@Lauryn_Bartellhave read yesterday. Very interesting, but no...I do not understand. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:07
@Sydney_Wuckert23, I can't remove the group. Nor create. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:10
@Sydney_Wuckert23vaschsche not understand why did. The seven is done in five minutes. Even if you don't understand. I will soon return function. A year from now. It's not terribly convenient. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:13
@Hailee.Haley88, seven in the default basic version of the HOMEGROUP, in the other WORKGROUP. Get sevens group - Eugenia commented on April 7th 20 at 16:16
@Sydney_Wuckert23, I have a dozen. What is the seven? - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:19
@Hailee.Haley88, "failed to connect to the home network by usual methods, as for 7ke home network."
What is the problem to just open there? To enable the sharing of your private network? - Eugenia commented on April 7th 20 at 16:22
@Sydney_Wuckert23included access. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:25
@Sydney_Wuckert23, and detection of the same is enabled. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:28

@Sydney_Wuckert23,
this is a HomeGroup, not a home network. A home group is a logical grouping of devices in the network.
fantastic. again you are confusing concepts. according to razgovarati as a deaf mute - Murray.Feeney93 commented on April 7th 20 at 16:34
@Nicholas60, no crap, I realized after 3 comments. Read DLO the end. - Eugenia commented on April 7th 20 at 16:37

@Sydney_Wuckert23, everything is simple. MS wants to push people to their cloud service ondraf. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:43
@Hailee.Haley88, ahem..
everything is simple. MS wants to push people to their cloud service ondraf.
tinfoil hats don't sell here

@Sydney_Wuckert23, part of that home group of the era вынь7 created for each OS party pseudo-group of users .. remember? .. and the right to access the balls were given to the members of this group

well, one side is resolving names. but everything is closer to the classics - if the default is not working, the strings dig that the vehicle has changed in direction from defotla. home router default + default setting of the network adapter under Windows, when it registers its name with the DNS/DHCP servers. and all this should be in home network (which is the equivalent of preselect firewall rules for a network interface)

ps read the dregs to the end... ?... no.. you really like the thread we finish the topic ))

success - Murray.Feeney93 commented on April 7th 20 at 16:46
@Nicholas60, yeah. Just not immediately kerf, what the author says about the real functions of the home network, which really drank. Even I was not ready for such). This is actually a good thing. Meaning it was not much. All worked fine and without creating a group. Well, that is, it is generally on each PC is created, but it is in fact at everyone, until you type "the password of your home network".
And the rest, because Windows separates the network to private (+Pets) and public. Here is the desired setting. - Eugenia commented on April 7th 20 at 16:49
Previously I had been a patient seven, now ten. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:52
@Sydney_Wuckert23, in addition:
a very odnorangovoj the network, in particular when one use a computer gets Internet from the modem (of any type) and not the router, then it works with a router (sharing the connection, including pppoe (abomination )) ..) the rest have to have adapter configuration automatic (dhcp)
in just peer-to-peer the concept of coordinator network (on the principle of first come, first serve (upd is about resolving names! upd2 and only about Windows networking! ))))
private (+Pets) and public
again - these are the profiles of the firewall and their application to networks:
- it is possible to intervene harshly How to make the openvpn a network trusted on windows 10? (there I decided the situation of the vehicle, but the info may apply here)
and there's also touched on the issue of renaming networks. cm in kamentah. and also not the fact that will give the ability to selectively change the type (public/home) for the network in case of multiple interfaces

@Hailee.Haley88,
Previously I had been a patient seven, now ten.
it's karma...
;)))))))))

gentlemen! they both apologize for asking @Sydney_Wuckert23, to be a translator to my advice!

So what's the question then?
Go to folder computer via LAN?
A component in the browser does not see?
The computer sees the folder access does not?
Access gives, then what is the problem?

I'd be glad to help, strange question
You've come to discuss-and that it is necessary to solve?
Last action allowed through the account Windows to go from PC to laptop. Can sharits all folders. The same steps with the laptop on the PC does not open folders although I have them hanging. The balls included. The right is divided into edit even. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 15:54
@Hailee.Haley88, well, with dozens of mandatory login / without it is why it is necessary to dance with a tambourine
Why it is necessary to include ipv6 in the adapter properties (both)

Well, in the folder access to specified user with password, in order to go

Seven this is easier, opened access, come on don't be shy

I have all the rules rummaged and works - Clementine_Dougl commented on April 7th 20 at 15:57
To folders separately without password is allowed. But the laptop climb. Why remove HomeGroup in the 10 wines. Don't understand. On seven it was done in five minutes. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:00
@Hailee.Haley88, instead of the HomeGroup network environment
Jabbed on the PC> came
Suggest to create a local uchetku left, put a password to share folders through it

Then try with disabled password - Clementine_Dougl commented on April 7th 20 at 16:03
And it was terribly uncomfortable. - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:06
@Hailee.Haley88, I'm good
I have the password saved, now all double click open in all directions

For guests is readonly
Very functional - Clementine_Dougl commented on April 7th 20 at 16:09
Why would they read? ) - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:12
@Hailee.Haley88to those who for example movies or pictures with phones/laptops looks don't accidentally deleted

For myself I have my own account with blackjacm etc - Clementine_Dougl commented on April 7th 20 at 16:15
Movies okay, pictures access I wouldn't dare) - verda.McDermo commented on April 7th 20 at 16:18
