How to connect the display to the discrete graphics card on a laptop?

good day to all. maybe my question will seem complete nonsense and unworthy of attention, but I can't find the Internet and therefore I am writing here.
there's the body - laptop Acer Aspire 3 and two video cards, one discrete and the one in device Manager marked as "basic display adapter".
when you try to open the settings of the graphics card (Radeon R5 m435), error: connect the display to the graphics card
Also a bunch of brakes and the lag where they shouldn't be (games that have no problem "going" on my old PC, on this PC began wildly to hang on and slow down and sometimes on the boot screen even after a factory reset on low).
If you disable this very basic video card via Manager when you try to enable settings as well climbs error, but different. Sample text: "the drivers are not installed correctly"
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit, drivers are the newest and most downloaded from official website AMD. I would be grateful if someone will respond and help!
