Subdomain or new domain?

If there is blozhik, say, in Arabic, and then I remembered what they say in Chinese what's best: to have a subdomain for Chinese on the same domain or to buy a separate domain?
Topics can be about the same, but not necessarily quite the same, so guess there's no reason to create a subsection blog123.com/zh or better a subdomain or a new domain.

Which is better? Or more or less the same?

Blozhik think is better to do it on 1 domain. Current domain essesno international. Oh and be sure to open the Chinese Chinese a subdomain using any GeoIP and the like.
