Need to store credentials to projects, how to deal with the mess in the company, when a lot of projects and employees change? You need some storage to the description of the project, access to servers, sites(all passwords).
How do you store passwords in your organization when you need often to give access to their staff? Maybe there are special tools or actions? As You have in the companies it works?
1. All passwords are divided into logical groups, for example: passwords from switches arowana the access password from the console IPMI servers, the root password from Linux servers etc. (in Your case, it most likely will be shared by projects)
2. Each group is assigned a "senior" who leads database and generates passwords when needed, supports AI up to date, etc.
3. The whole database is accessible to IT Director and his Deputy. (senior Manager of all projects or similar entity)
Of course the passwords are stored using the password Manager (for taste and color). Backup and protection "from the fool" :)
