Do I need to switch from IDEA to Eclipse?

I'm relatively new to Java. Now I teach a Spring core. I use Intellij idea. Listened to a podcast where the author said that beginners need to use eclipse. I don't like eclipse, as there is poor code completion, not the usual syntax highlighting, pretty confusing interface. Well design, in my opinion, eclipse is pretty poor. Summarizing the above, my question is: do I have to switch to eclipse if I don't like it?

I'm not really a beginner, I'm learning Java for a year. Write your project under Android, now the question server. Decided to implement it on spring-E. Therefore began to look for a need ide. I am attracted to the idea because it is very similar to Android studio, which is not surprising. - soledad46 commented on April 18th 20 at 13:32
@soledad46, in that case, why did you listen to the tips for beginners? The more stupid subjective advice. - craig41 commented on April 18th 20 at 13:35

It is not necessary, when he learned to code used Intellij idea. Then got a job and started working in eclipse, the challenges of transition have not noticed, about a couple of weeks to get used to the new ide

I highly recommend VSCode.
My feeling - much easier than the idea. The interface works faster.
Ported HotKeys - to simplify the transition. Plug-ins abound.

Want to switch to another language in a couple of clicks.
I was sick of removing unused imports, and property constants after users VS Code. - cesar64 commented on April 18th 20 at 13:36
@cesar64again idea of the hotkeys work. And obyasnyu imports have users of any IDE.

In your case, I think the business processes are incorrectly built. If in the code a lot Abyazov - improperly performed code review. - Nina_McGlynn commented on April 18th 20 at 13:39
@Nina_McGlynn, It's not about processes, and that sort of thing in principle to the review should not go. The linters solve the issue, but a decent IDE such schools allow you to illuminate and correct in one click. Judging by the abundance of such detail in the code vs. Code fans, he is not ready or requires elaboration file. - cesar64 commented on April 18th 20 at 13:42
@cesar64, it's quite simple. Please note that in git you can use the hooks. For example, when pullrequests.

@cesar64, Good afternoon.

Today there was a situation about which you write.
There is a desktop app that make up davlenii.
It is going in idea. Today commital not through the console (Yes I am retired, I git the sounds from the console), and after idea version control tool. Well, I decided to try. And saw this warning. About using abusenik imports.
If you have the same problem, my profile is the Cart. Email me please, where in one movement, everything is solved. It is not necessary hooks to use.

Thank you.

P. S. Sorry. Do not understand how write in PM. - Nina_McGlynn commented on April 18th 20 at 13:48
