Can I safely connect to MYSQL (JAVASCRIPT)?

I read that GS is pumped to the client and he can do with it what you want, it does not suit me - because then he will have the data from the database.
Is it possible to do it like that safely? If so, you can code?

Solution
Backend not given to the client, and at the front there should be no data you do not want to show

Solution
You can not give the client the data grid and rendered on the server a. jpg picture with the grid.

Then the majority of data will be many times more difficult.
You can link to examples?) - Jamey.OConnel commented on April 19th 20 at 12:11
I'm not a UI box. So I don't know what libraries are you doing in your PHP rendering raster graphics. But the idea of giving. It - works. That's what for you is the price - I don't know. - daron.Heathco commented on April 19th 20 at 12:14
