How do I filter the data in the app asp.net core mvc?

Hello! I'm developing an online store on ASP.NET CORE MVC. Use the site metanit. Experience development a little . When loading the main page, I can see the cards of all the goods, and about how on this page https://metanit.com/sharp/aspnet5/8.2.php On the form I have four drop down list, the data source which - category. When I fill in all four fields and press send , everything happens normally, the filtered output of the card. I now need that when you enter data in one of the fields, there was an automatic filtering of data sources in the drop-down lists of other fields and nearby formed the "show" link and number of items. Such filters I've seen on many sites, for example https://www.1001tur.ru/ I want by clicking on the field had a list with checkboxes and I could do multiple choice of categories. And that would be when you select in one field, automatically filtered the checkboxes for the other fields.

Personally, I do not understand. Describe to yourself to understand the process.
The idea is you can create a controller which will give data sets, respectively, after any action on the client, you give the new dataset, or if enough data do everything on the client.
Vladimir, thanks for the reply! That's what I want to do, but there are issues.
How to make a form with drop-down checkboxes?
How to send datasets to the controller by clicking on a checkbox(similar to the events on WinForms?) to reload that same form?
Well, must appear the button "Submit" next to the checkbox when you click on it. How to implement it?
That is, the form needs to send data to itself during filling and after filling it need to send data in a different method or a different controller for the final view with filtered items. Whatever book or article to read on this subject? - Vida_Kshler commented on April 19th 20 at 12:24
@Vida_Kshler, I would recommend Vue and sending via fetch or axios
