What a dump(memory) process and how to use it?

I think that C++ has a part in this issue. Because most software and games written on it or on the C-like language. Correct me if I wrong.

In General, interested in the question: what is a memory dump of the process and how to use it. Not the OS, and some programs or games.

I already tried to open a dump file is a trial version of IDA, but couldn't understand its content.
Prompt:
  • Is it right to create a dump via task Manager and there are other ways, and whether these methods?
  • Is it possible to obtain useful information from the memory dump?
  • What are the tools to open and view the dumps?
  • What is there is contained in this black box dump file?

is it possible to get useful information from the memory dump?

"useful" - relative category. That will be helpful to me, can be quite uninteresting to You. And Vice versa, of course.
For example, the program xcomutil (for Defence game UFO: Enemy Unknown, 1996) shows the relative coordinates of the enemy unit and his condition. For someone who plays her is priceless info. For someone who doesn't play - it's absolutely useless :)

The memory dump is a cross - section data directly from the memory from the RAM.

>"is it possible to get useful information from the dump?"
Rewrite it in Russian, and it is unclear what it was.

>"I already tried to open a dump file is a trial version of IDA, but little information and nothing is clear"
Naturally, this same set of bytes, clear the car. You'll have to work really hard to translate this into human language.

helpful information-those functions that are responsible for what-l. action or the game, and also you can change. - Moshe_Gaylo commented on April 19th 20 at 12:33
@Moshe_Gaylo, And? - Elena92 commented on April 19th 20 at 12:36
@Elena92that "Well?" I'm not in the exam, so I asked. You can see that I'm not at your level of understanding. I approximate enough need to know on the questions above. The dump file can be used to edit programs or games? What you need for this: what tools, what YAP ... ? - Moshe_Gaylo commented on April 19th 20 at 12:39
@Moshe_Gaylo, >"I'm not in the exam that I was asked."
I'm about twenty years do not remember. Nakoy you're shit remember? - Elena92 commented on April 19th 20 at 12:42
@Elena92, mister, sorry, the pressure, and pulse? Open the window, breathe slowly, inhale 5 seconds. and slow exhale. - Moshe_Gaylo commented on April 19th 20 at 12:45
@Moshe_Gaylo, do not be rude when you come for answers.

"can ISya useful information from the dump?"

I suspect you meant "get" it to you implying.
Illiterate it is a sign of disrespect to the interlocutor. This is not love.

In addition, it is usually complete with tongue-tie and lack of logic. First you need to understand what and why you want to learn. And then already to ask.

You this what you need? - Bernice.Hammes commented on April 19th 20 at 12:48
@Bernice.Hammes, all in the past make mistakes. Fixed already.
To understand and learn how to edit the game code or a program (word hack is suitable). All!
But apparently it's a tremendous theme that to specify the question, I have not. Yes, and in the refinement unlikely, what do you say how to do it and the questions will start again. - Moshe_Gaylo commented on April 19th 20 at 12:51

That's about it and ask.
This is a really big topic, and memory dumps here are likely to appear, but hardly for the main roles. And it turns out like "how to write an operating system".
For starters, perhaps you can Google about that. Then the desire will fall off, or many years of fun.
