Hello, is the usual standard topic "Best Educatio Child", it is preset with the slider, as I understand it allows you to display only 3 pages, but should be increased to 10, please tell me if there is a possibility it has something to do?

1) to edit the theme files. And of course, no-one can edit theme files for you. Recommend to contact a freelance. And quite frankly, it is not recommended to touch the theme files, because after the first update you will lose the edits. And since this is not a template, then create a child theme useless.
2) take another plugin and integrate it in a place where is displayed the current slider. Plugins - Layer Slider, Revolution Slider, Meta Slider, etc.
3) Change the subject to another
