Which operating system to choose for programming games in Unity3D?

Good afternoon.
As previously had no experience in developing games, then ask for advice.
Plan to study development in Unity3D. At home I have Mac and Windows, but the computer with Windows already old and hence the question of whether to upgrade the computer with Windows or it is possible to develop on the Mac Pro?
What pitfalls may face if I develop on the Mac?

Depends on what you worked before. If you have experience with Mac, of course it will be you, and if the wind continue there is more.
