What Linux is best to use for PostgreSQL and servers 1C?

Going to go on virtualizati with ESXi.
1C and translated from MS SQL to PostgreSQL.
Licenses on Windows a bit, hence the question of which Linux it is best to use.

Suggest Ubuntu 16.04 and Centos 7, Centos seems more reliable.

Officially v8.1c.ru/requirements but on opensuse, for example, works too.
I say - in fact works almost everywhere, sometimes with a small application of the tambourine. - Dahlia.Swi commented on June 14th 19 at 18:17

Which Linux to use is a philosophical question.
1. Are you going to raise my Linux server to 1C, i.e., X s(graphics, etc.) You do not need.
2. Basic requirements for server stability and speed (not going to touch the "high" theme, when the question "what Linux to choose")

Items you can add to infinity, but while I think that's enough.
Summary:
take a stable distribution focused on server-side work. With a clean RHEL and Suse are troubles with the licensing, respectively, remains - Centos and Debian
