Owlcarousel. Adaptive layout for images of different sizes. How?

Good day.
Actually a subject.
There is a site on Bitrix (to him), the contractor under the contract is not very good kachestvenno did the job and blended...
Left the design in the style of "emptied himself" throughout the site. Omitting lyrics, problem: due to the fact that the images are slightly different sizes and resize CFile::ResizeImageGet() work a little different in height. Because of this, when scrolling the carousel part of the site from the bottom to the unpleasant twitches.

I purposely did not quote the existing markings need to understand the principle and make it clean.
Why I ask here. The network is full of addicts how to write, but need adaptability. How do gurus html5 & CSS3?

PS: Generally, in the existing layout I can enter the stupid height of the container? But adaptability will have to write a bunch of @media (min-width: blabla). Is this normal?

Thank you!

Solution
Fixed: the height of the container and a bunch of
@media (min/max-width: blabla)

PS: it was bootstraps carousel, not owl. Code there seems from the tests and partly from the second carousel on the page.
