Why not work out @media query?

@media (min-width: 1920px) {
 header {
 padding: 0 5rem;
}
}
@media (min-width: 1200px),
@media (min-width: 992px),
@media (min-width: 768px),
@media (min-width: 667px),
@media (min-width: 568px),
@media (min-width: 480px),
@media (min-width: 320px) {
 header {
 padding: 0 3.5 rem;
}
}

The monitor is 1600px and still shows

header {
 padding: 0 3.5 rem;
}

-------------------
There is a difference in what order are requests, rearranged, and so the problem went away:
@media (min-width: 320px),
@media (min-width: 480px),
@media (min-width: 568px),
@media (min-width: 667px),
@media (min-width: 768px),
@media (min-width: 992px),
@media (min-width: 1200px) {
 header {
 padding: 0 3.5 rem;
}
}
@media (min-width: 1280px) {
 header {
 padding: 0 5rem;
}
}

Do not understand why media queries are separated by commas writing. In this case (min-width: 320px) on all the permits and so work, makes no sense to list that above 320.
I understand that, at the moment they did so, tomorrow adaptiv will expand - overall I at the moment, so convenient! - Santina_Graham commented on June 14th 19 at 19:20

@media (min-width: 320px) means "if the screen width FROM 320 AND ABOVE to make the padding: 0 3.5 rem "

@media (min-width: 1920px) - means "the width of the screen FROM 1920 AND later to make the padding: 0 5rem; "
Put it this way the result is the same!

@media (min-width: 1280px) {
 header {
 padding: 0 5rem;
}
}
@media (min-width: 1200px),
@media (min-width: 992px),
@media (min-width: 768px),
@media (min-width: 667px),
@media (min-width: 568px),
@media (min-width: 480px),
@media (min-width: 320px) {
 header {
 padding: 0 3.5 rem;
}
}
