How to get into game dev and how to start a career in this field if you're a web developer?

Hello.
Maybe someone faced similar situation or is currently engaged in development of games.
Please tell me how you got into this field.
What technology stack you took the job, and now ask of Juneau?

Consider the work in Moscow.
For companies it's hard to say where I wanted to work , due to the fact that not know all who lives here.

I currently do web development (3 years), got here rather under the influence of the external environment than by their own ambitions. We want to leave the web and start to play only games.
Learning Unity3D and C#. Other engines do not consider as Unity suits me perfectly for my small homework in the evenings and in the future I would like to work with him.
From passed me the books was "Unity in action", "Game Programming Patterns" and in C# Childca.
Among my skills anything except what is learned from books I have, and also their projects(completed tasks from the tutorials do not consider for their projects)

Do you know any good material for the raising of a skill, and advise on books or totally?

The easiest way to demonstrate their abilities to the employer - to make the game. Choose any classic retro game easier (snake, Tetris, arkanoid), sit down and do. Then take and post the source on GitHub, and the build on GitHub Pages or itch.io. If the game is mobile, you can buy a developer license and pozerat shop to your crafts, here's how they themselves want.

The development in game-dev should start with job search in game-dev in your town or where you intend to get. See jobs, see the requirements may complete their education and try to pass an interview.

By themselves, knowledge will not be employed. They are required for employment, but employs you search for jobs and attempt to get hired (sending resumes, going on interviews).

View jobs in those companies in which you are going to get, try to find developers there.

Why the web is not considered as a platform for games? Now quite popular, strongly developed and widely distributed browser-based game. I remember someone here wrote that the company was doing on a PHP backend for a browser-based strategy.

I'm not talking purely about game-dev company. Some firms have more units game development (same EPAM recently discovered this PODRAZDELENIE, where VR is applied + to all this the unit still does a lot of things besides the games themselves).
If you know JS, it's even better. In my opinion a simple game written on it (and if we consider every node.js it is possible at once and to do backend in the same language). And I think You have studied enough to already begin doing your project. As correctly noted above, create a profile on GitHub. Write your projects, make a portfolio and go to interviews.
