What files to remove after Drupal installation?

I looked up online was the answer - everywhere is written that nothing is not necessary to remove all the rules, but I do not understand why any available file example.com/core/install.php and a bunch of files in the folder (I thought normal engines make public only access index.php and resource files - JS, CSS, img). This is a trick?

In all engines available any files, nothing wrong with that. When the prescribed website, the installation process should not be executed and that's all.
