How to make automatic running mate via xrdp?

I have two servers: test and production.
Both mate and installed xrdp. With a Windows workstation connected from the standard remote desktop client. Configured username and password. I.e., the entrance and running mate should be automatic. But automatically authenticates the client only on the test server. Despite the fact that the configuration is the same! On a production server, just a green screen. What can you do that normally run mate?
