What is in your portfolio?

True in the first place for frontend developers, but the opinion of others also interested.

As you know, everyone wants the code on github, but what you pay for (95-100% of the projects) on github can not fill. What do you do? Make the links?

And again. I had a sad situation: 3 years of experience in this area 2,5 I worked in a Bank, but it closed, so the most I can provide is to show example of online services on the wayback machine. What would you do in my place?
